happy 4th of july!
This was the weirdest 4th of July.. and the weather was the lamest!
It rained ALL day!
We had to cancel our bar-b-que bc of weather, and the Indy fireworks were also canceled ;(
but some of the wives had a little lunch get together at Cassi's so that brightened the day..
and the night ended up being really fun...
Jeremy worked for part of the day.. then we went to dinner with the office to Outback...
and ended the night with a bang at the bowling ally
so fun actually

--------------------------------------------------

A week before the 4th Indy had a parade and a LITTLE firework show to ring in the 4th early
... so at least we got some form of festive activities this year...

Alex
... aka.... our little brother (we call him that because he hangs out A LOT with us since his cute fiance, Jess, is back in Utah for the summer)
so Alex has been trying to "make the blog" all summer (those were his words!)
here is your moment of fame bro
Jess and Alex got engaged the end of June and we are THRILLED!

I'm gonna have to give the cutest 4th of July outfit award to ADY! Love this tiny girl.

Hope you all had a wonderful INDEPENDENCE day!!!
I always get emotional this time of year... how blessed we all are to live where and how we live!

Can it really be...

...2 years

This day was perfect
I thought there was no way I could love you more...
6.16.07

then  1 year passed by.. and i loved you so MUCH more...
6.16.08

2 years..
& now I'm realizing I will love you so MUCH more EVERYDAY of my life.
6.16.09
I had a perfect day sweetie. Thank you.

You've seen me the happiest I've ever been...
the saddest..
the maddest..
the most stressed..
the most excited..
the silliest..
the most moody..
the most laid back..
the funniest (which is MOST of the time) ha.
the most fickle (sorry about that one sweetie) ha.
You've seen me in my proudest.. and least proud moments

You know me better than I'd even like to admit..
better than anyone in the world (including myself sometimes)
yet ...

you still love me ...
ha.
You're crazy for that...
but for that..
and for so many other reasons..

I'm ridiculously CRAZY about you...
Jeremy Lance Call.
I love you ..
Happy Anniversary

we've been....

To a Indianapolis INDIANS baseball
GAME....

Coop Fly'n

It started dizzle'n at the game ....
.... then it RAINED

Then it POURED ...

and we got DRENCHED from head to toe.. and the game was canceled.
but we made it all the way to
the 6th inning
.. so..
it was so fun while it lasted!

We've been to the Indianapolis
  Z00...

Coop got a Dolphin painted on his face
We watched a Dolphin show..
Where I come from there are no dolphins at the zoo..
LOVED IT
(Amanda, Brooke, Ady, Me, Cooper, Cassi, Carter)

We've been..
Celebrate'n the ole 26 for me!
Jeremy got me a...
"Edible Arrangment"
oh my.. love

Cassi and I's birthdays were only a few days apart.. and she was so sweet to make this DELIGHTFUL/SCRUMPTIOUS cake for both of us..
so cute, right?!
She turned 25, and I turned 26...
hence
the 51 candles, and yes..
we lit em all!
holy fire hazard..

The office had a lil cake and ice cream get together for me & Cass's birthday.
Such fun/great people.
Align Left
Can I really be 26 years old?
Crazy talk.
This get'n older thing is starting to really bug me.
Jeremy & I heading out to celebrate.

Here's a little treat for you..
**** We had a HAIL storm here about 2 weeks ago that was WICKED!!  The hail was reported to be the size of BASEBALL's!!! They said they haven't had a storm to this magnitude in at least 4 years! We were about a half hour away from our apartments..but one of our cars was here at our apartment (our nicer of the two cars of coarse)... and the hail did a NUMBER on our poor vehicle..
Good news:  Insurance will cover all $9000 worth of damage
Bad news: its going to take 2 1/2 weeks to get fixed

could be worse...  thank heavens for insurance.
Idaho/Utah weather doesn't seem so bad these days ;)

have a great week friends.

overdue update

Remember us? Please don't forget friends!
Updating this darn blog has been a battle between trying to "borrow" internet, busy days... blah....blah...blah!

Update.
Downtown is SUPERB.
so many fun things to see! could it get any greener or more LUSH here? love!

downtown indy

We LOVE seeing Ady (and chase & brooke) more than we have ever been able to!
so nice to have family out here with us this summer!

Look at both of their blue eyes! crazy beautiful.

can you even stand this face?

JAZZ KITCHEN + SALSA DANCING NIGHT
+ 3 conservative married couples
=
Ridiculously fun for us, undoubtably awkward for those watching us. ha.

We headed out on the town about 10:30 and got home about 1:30 in the AM..
i know what your thinking.. "those wild and crazy cats", right?..
I thought those days were long past and buried with my singles years.. but NOPE..
salsa night at the jazz kitchen has reborn the "clubbers" in us!
..HA..
... WE WISH ...
The truth:
we ALL were exhausted for 3 days after our late night out on the town.. not to mention SO sore for busting our mad moves.
we're get'n old, darn it.

How lucky am I to be out here with such cute/sweet/fun girlfriends?!

Chase's face in this picture is just a sneak peak into one of the greatest nights of his life... Brooke's RIS-KAY salsa moves were driving him wizzz-ild
RARRRR

Caleb & Cassi
.... our new FAB friends...
were the life of the salsa party.. so fun, love them.

Grab'n some grub before a long night on the dance floor.
how gross was my broccoli/cheddar soup that night. woof.

Meet my friend
Cooper.

.... and Carter
(he's tucked away in his momma's pouch)
I have LOVED getting to know Cassi and her lil fam.. what a fun crew they are. Funny I have only known them for a few weeks.. from the first day i met them.. felt like i have known them for years. So glad they are here.. friends like them are what make these summer experiences all worth while!
... and of coarse Ady again.

ok so my hips were slightly bruised, and i may have been stuck for a few minutes.... but i wanted to try the lil blue swing out since the first time i laid eyes on it, so at least i got it under my belt early on in the summer.
a first and a last.

Whats this?????
Is that grease I see on those baby bottom smooth hands of yours sweet person?
Yup.. I'm one proud friend
Germany got up this morning and looked up how to change the brake pads/rotors on our car this morning.. and the next thing  I know.. he's all greased up get'n  'er done!
Like I said, I sincerely am so proud of this "coming of age/a giant step into manhood" moment for jeremy... but not near as proud as he was of himself!
I wish I could have captured the beam that was radiating from him as he talked about his feat in the auto industry each and every hour throughout the day.

I didn't know until today.. but its true what they say
... there is just something about grease and sweat on yo man...
 delish to the eye.
Great job cute champ.

we are absolutely loving Indy.. all sugar coating aside.
don't get me wrong.. my homesick moments creep in, and a few tears have been shed as i think about my family in idaho... but...
we feel so blessed to be here with such great friends and people all around us..
and know this is exactly what and where we are suppose to be ... even though it was quite the process deciding to come!

Funny how life happens just as it should. Thank heavens someone knows us better than we know ourselves.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
